À±½·ÊÓƵ is seeking an IT Application Specialist to join our client's team in Mainz, Germany. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with standards and cyber security practices while contributing to the Global IT Shared Services Delivery strategy. You will be responsible for the service delivery of local and global platforms, providing support and implementing tools to enhance business operations.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with standards, cyber security practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to the Global IT Shared Services Delivery strategy.
• Manage service delivery for local and global platforms, focusing on quality and performance.
• Provide support for local and global platforms.
• Implement and promote the use of company tools, advising on best practices.
• Identify improvement areas and provide user training to enhance IT and process improvements.
• Engage with users and stakeholders to clarify needs and discover solutions.
• Deliver quality configuration and development work for IT systems, including estimation, planning, and management.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of IT business landscape, particularly ERP/CRM systems like Sage, MS Dynamics, S/4Hana.
• Proficiency in databases, SQL queries, and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, Power App.
• Ability to understand business processes and manage expectations.
• Experience managing external suppliers and IT vendors.
• Knowledge of the life sciences industry is preferred.
• Demonstrated business acumen and relevant experience.
• Fluent in English.
