Research Associate II: Nonclinical Pharmacology - Contract - Lexington, MA
À±½·ÊÓƵ is seeking a dedicated Research Associate II to focus on Nonclinical Pharmacology alongside a dynamic team.
Primary Responsibilities:
This role focuses on assisting with rodent studies, performing molecular biology techniques, and supporting cross-functional teamwork. The successful candidate will be required to support lab-based studies in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical fields.
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field along with a minimum of 3 years working experience.
- Proficiency in molecular biology techniques, such as RNA extraction and RT-qPCR.
- Experience in rodent handling and dosing.
- Strong analytical skills for data interpretation.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience in study data and report quality control is advantageous.
- Familiarity with ELISA and gel shift assay (EMSA) is desirable.
The Research Associate II: Nonclinical Pharmacology's responsibilities will be:
- Collaborate with research scientists to plan and execute lab-based studies.
- Perform dosing and handling of rodents, including necropsy and sample collection.
- Conduct RNA extraction, RT-qPCR assays, and troubleshoot as needed.
- Analyze blood and tissue samples using molecular biology methods.
- Communicate findings effectively to enhance team collaboration.
- Assist in report writing, data quality control, and administrative tasks.
