Mark joined Clinical in March 2023 as Country Director, Japan. He started his healthcare recruitment career in 2012 specializing in the medical device industry, covering most commercial and clinical roles including sales, marketing, regulatory, quality, clinical, and business development, BU Head etc. Mark started working in healthcare in 1999 at Mitsui Seiyaku/ Nihon Schering/ Schering AG. He recieved a Bachelors in Literature and Philosophy at Middlesex University and MBA from Oxford Brookes and joined an Oxford University Biotech Venture company, g-Nostics, as Marketing Manager in 2003.

He also partnered with a Canadian eHealth company, Evolution Health, as Business Development Manager to expand their online support programs for mental health and addition into the Japan market. His first language is English and have intermediate Japanese (JPLT N3). Mark is a British national, his hometown is Oxford, and grew up in Papua New Guinea.

He is passionate about improving the professionalism in the industry so we can better support our partner clients and professionals, and helping clients successfully navigate the challenges of the Japan market as a global growth partner.
